Hi all, as the creator of this group my apologie stha I have not been on recently. I have been traveling a lot and swamped with deadlines. So, welcome to the Capacity Development group!
I will try to upload resources over te nex few months as we progress. To start can i direct you to this months publication at www.capacity.org which has excellent resources on organisational learning, including some new frameworks for thinking about capacity in aid organisations.
In the meantime, can I invite you all to direct us to your sites, learning blogs [if you haven't yet -why not start?] wikki's and other sources of support and resources for capacity development and learning? I Look forward to more discussion with all of you in the coming months..Noel

Good morning, Partners! I've begun to share notes about my development experiences that date back to the 1980s yet. Lots of institutional development and capacity-building were entailed in those engagements. Happy viewing! (pls see blog articles)

Interesting comment/analysis in today's FT by William Easterly, author of "The White Man's Burden." -- one can conclude that everyone is a development expert.

Hi! I wish to share ideas here later about my fusion of 'self-realization' technologies with social technologies aimed at strengthening capacities both at the individual and institutional/organizational levels. I am both a social development expert and a guru of self-realization.
