Would like to be able to use the network as an open source of information and advice on important issues of sustainable development and environmental protection for the global and Caribbean small island communities.

President and Coordinator of Environmental Information Activiites
What knowledge, skills and experience do you have that you would be happy for people to contact you over?
Moderation of e-groups; sustainable development of small islands; eco-tourism; biodiversity conservation; policy and legal issues for natural resource management and conservation on small islands, and tools for environmental information management for small island networks.
What else would you like to say about yourself?
I am an ex US Peace Corps Volunteer and staff member in the Latin America and Caribbean region; wife Kincey and I sailed and lived aboard our own boat in the Caribbean for three years; designed local sustainable development projects for international oil and gas producingt affiliates of Mobil Oil Company in the early 1980's; and I am a strong supporter of watershed protection and RiverKeeper programs in the Chesapeake Bay.

What I Saw on the Way to San Juan (from Tortola)

Thought this was a good picture of some basic coastal zone issues and conditions -- This is Isleta Marina on the little island, and Fajardo, in the east end of Puerto Rico.

Hallo Bruce, half an hour ago I sent you a comment, but it vanished. I like your activities and the locations you're working. I also am very much interested in eco-tourism and the rgion where I work looks like a small island. I hope we can share knowledge and set of new projects for our respective regions.
