Thanks for the invitation, Graham. I really am a s-aging geek (that means I'm not just getting older, but wiser, hopefully). I'm still feeling my way around Second Life, but I'm fascinated by it, & the technology is stunning - especially in light of our societies - predicated on oil - going away. I research a lot in re a new type of society based on the Power of One as we co-create. Ireland has two post-carbon communities up and working in the West. My own website is dedicated to placing sustainable communities on the ground that are post-carbon and Pof1 communities, using the Precautionary principle and some other things as their guidelines. My avatar is WordSpirit Westland and I accept all the help I can possibly get.
Right now, I've created a ning community for Humanity's Team virtual village (http://www.humanitysteam.org) - it's a movement that says, basically, We are All One - let's practice. So the worldwide community is easy for everyone to join and work at interacting in a prelude community (http://www.htwwcommunity.ning.com). I've just got it up and so far I have a few folks from across the planet. I'm posting everywere. I also put your piece up there, as we have some folks with real awareness and dedication who are or will be joining.
Thanks for the video - fascinating! I've just joined 2nd life not long ago, but haven't had the opportunity to do much with it. great work. I'm from Ballina, Curracloe, outside of Wexford town, but currently living in the deep south of the U.S. in the country south of Atlanta. And oh, please God, I'll be returning soon to the EU. It's lovely here, though, and we're always somewhere for a reason.
Cheers!
