What else would you like to say about yourself?
I have an organic farm and tropical forest managed in a manner compatible with nature plus a room and cabins for rent. I am a retired Gerontologist who has always been an activist for the environment, peace, and justice. I am a member of Mensa International, but don't have much opportunity to meet other Mensa members interested in nature. I love being able to collect fresh wild raspberries and blackberries every morning to eat with my cereal. I have several pets and love animals. I am the mother of two adult activist artistic children. Silvana Vucic Burns who stayed in my house while researching property in this area of Costa Rica introduced me to this site. Photography and bugs are hobbies. I have a bunch of blogs on various subjects. I used to write professionally (and edit).
Hi Mary - I, too, have blogs on various subjects, as well as several websites (I'm a s-aging geek - makes me sound wise instead of just getting old!) I'm a researcher/writer/teacher with expertise in int'l relations, complaint & conflict resolution, and suppose as we age, the list gets longer if you're a Seeker and always curious. One of my blogs is about Organics, and also Water & Air - and what is done to all three. I'm the World's Regions Coordinator for a movement called Humanity's Team. It's spiritualty based (not religious) & the short definition is that we understand we are all One - even at the quantum level - and can we practice. My website Team Humanity Network is dedicated to gathering folks who have a desire to build sustainable communities/hostels/retreat centres across the planet. I'm truly interested in your finca CerroSur. I went to school in Madrid for a while a couple of years ago, and have been there enough to know I love the northern part of Spain & have intentions of moving to the Cantabria area and getting a finca fixer-upper. Right now, I'm in the deep south of the U.S., out in the country.
Nice to meet you, Mary. ¡Qué tengas una noche lleno de amor y amistad!
